Jasmine Pickwell is a fine art painter recently graduated with a BA honours at University of the Art London in Fine Art: Painting. There she found a passion in creating vibrant mixed media abstract floral artworks inspired by the natural world. Combining bold colour, texture and layered techniques she transform everyday flowers into expressive and abstract compositions.

I am a fine art painter who takes inspiration from flowers and the natural world.
I use photography as a starting point turning everyday flowers into colourful mixed media paintings.
Working primarily with acrylic and oil paint on canvas, however I also experiments with watercolour, oil pastels, chalk and pencil. This creates layered textures and patterns to the paintings.
